reality check

Greetings one and all... well on a whole, things are still functioning quite will in the Argent household. sleep is slowly becoming a more regular occurance. lillian is doing quite well and is becoming cuter and cuter everyday. she seems to be a very happy and content little girl as she smiles a lot and is verging on giving us a laugh. lillian is growing and is alreay beginning to out-grow her birth clothes.

sarah and i are starting to get back some of our social life also. this has taken a lot of re-working with the addition of baby lillian but so far, so good. i for one have been very excited to start to slip back into church commitments and social things as i have really missed interacting and hanging out with my friends.

i am really enjoying the opportunities that are being presented to me at Marion church. i did the message last Sunday night. it was my first time speaking a message at Marion and i really enjoyed it. it felt really good and i beleive that God was working through my words. i have had many comments since that people were touched and had an encounter with God on Sunday night. it is such a privelge to be apart of God's work and to know that he has used me to touch someone's life is such a cool feeling. it causes me to take such a reality check everytime it happens. it forces me to realise that without God, i really am nothing. it is His blessign in my life, His influence and guidance in my life and the giftings that He has given me that allow me to do everything that i do. and then He decides to use ME to touch the life of someone else... pretty cool when you think about it!

...it's all food for thought...

That's all from me for today...

Stay tuned... More to come...

ThE dAy ThE mOuLd WaS sHaTtErEd

For nearly 9 Months we had been waiting for the day... the day when our already chaotic lives would be thrown into utter turmoil and confusion... what day am I talking about you ask? I am talking about the Day the Mould Was Shattered!!! Also Known As The Day My Daughter Was Born :) yes, it is official!!! Lillian Rain Argent was born at 3:27am on Wednesday the 22nd of February 2006. She was and still is a small bundle of joy weighing in at only 6 pound 8 ounces (about 2.96kg) at birth.

Lillian is the most amazing and beautiful creation I have ever seen!! I know every father says it, but I am the only one who is right!!! :) This is the reason for the title of this entry... Because at 3:27am on Wednesday the 22nd of February 2006, God's mould was shattered by the arrival of the most beautiful child. Of course I am not biased ;-)

Lillian and Sarah have come home now and we begin the task of attempting to settle into a routine (and sleeping whenever possible, hee hee). After a few complications at birth like Sarah developing Preeclampsia and Help Syndrome and needing to have an Emergency C-Section, Lillian having low core body temperature and dangerously low blood glucose levels... The staff at Flinders Medical Centre were fantastic in looking after my 2 angels and a little over a week after Lillian was born, they were both able to come home. Big thank you's to all the gang up at FMC.

ok, must go now... Got work to do. I fear that i will be in trouble tomorrow as a big event I am responsible for has just finished and it didnt' go so well... I will find out tomorrow...

Stay Tuned... More To Come... I hope...
